Create Compete Collaborate – a groundbreaking ambition which aims to ensure that ‘every young person in the South East has the opportunity to participate in a project with another young person from a competitor country between now and 2012.’

Is at the forefront of the regional planning strategy for 2012 and the main objective relating to children and young people. CCC was established in acknowledgment of the fact that 2012 is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and to help bring to life the promises that were made about participation, engagement and community.

CCC believe that by using the inspiration of the Games, we can develop and create collaborations that help to broaden the international outlook of young people and encourage within them the qualities of openness, equality, understanding, enquiry and cooperation, which are so important to their future lives. This will help to create a legacy of young people in the South East and around the world with broadened horizons, new skills, heightened global awareness and a greater sense of connectedness and fraternity.
